Hotel la Bohème is a small friendly hotel with a homely atmosphere. We have 18 simple but clean rooms, almost all with private facilities. We have a flexible and very friendly crew. Our hotel reception is also a bar in which you're always welcome to have a drink or a chat. Several games like backgammon, chess and cards are available. We can answer your questions about where to go and what to do, also about the non-tourist stuff. Furthermore we have free wireless internet available for you in your room and we offer a baby-sit service for those who travel with children.
We serve a simple Dutch style “as much as you like to eat” breakfast buffet until 11 o clock.
The hotel is situated about 200 meters from the Leidse Plein, the main Night Life area of Amsterdam. Here you find a wide range of charming restaurants, bars, disco’s and coffeeshops. Nearby are the famous clubs Melkweg and Paradiso. Also some of the most important musea; for example the Van Gogh Museum and Rijksmuseum, are within walking distance.

Attention: It is currently not possible to make reservations for this hotel.

Location
1 minute far from Leidseplein (central area).
From Schiphol: bus n. 197, stop: Leidseplein.
From Amsterdam Central Station: Tram 1, 2, 5. Stop: Leidseplein.

Parking
Nearby our hotel are some reliable parking-places. A reasonable priced parking garage is Q-parking (former Europarking) on Marnixstraat (cost € 38 for 24 hours). The hotel itself does not have any parking opportunity, and it is not a good idea to park on the streets as the cost are higher and you need to put in change each time the your paid period is over.

You could also choose P & R location Bos en Lommer. This will cost 6 euro per day, including free return ticket by very regular public transport to the Leidseplein (tram 7).

Check out time latest at 11.00 hours.

It is never a problem to arrive earlier or depart later, as you can always leave your luggage in the reception.
If you arrive before 18.00 hours, please inform the hotel.
Upon arrival you pay a 20 euro key deposit for which you will be given the front door key. This means you can come in and go out whenever you like, no curfew!

+ Great hotel just off Leidseplein with tons of restaurants and cafes with sunny terraces, excellent public transport options. Clean and spacious rooms, friendly staff, nice breakfast – good choice.
